Covered in New Orleans memorabilia, polaroids of past customers, and bight color Slim Goodies has a super cozy and inviting energy. The food is perfect for a massive hangover or celebration with friends. I would highly recommend the sweet potato pancakes with chocolate chips and whipped cream!!! I’ve never had them anywhere else, plus the whole table unanimously agreed they were special. Also, the breakfast burrito (according to Dani) is one of the best in the city. I’d skip the grits: a little watery and flavorless. Overall, great experience would recommend to students and visitors.
