About The Eater

I’m just a girl with eyes bigger than her stomach, a hunger for adventure, and a sweet tooth so big it threatens to send me into a sugar-induced coma. I've always held a passion for cooking and baking, but my immersion into the culinary world of New Orleans has deepened my appreciation for the craft. Through exploring its food scene, I've come to understand the significance it holds—the artistry it embodies, the stories it tells, and the cultural expression it represents. It's through this culinary journey that I've gained an understanding of the community I've become a part of. Eaten Bayou is my love letter to New Orleans, a celebration of all the chefs, and a glimpse into my journey of exploring the city through my four years at Tulane and beyond! I hope you fall in love with the dishes eaten by me, as soon as they are Eaten Bayou!
