Not to be dramatic, but Paladar is probably my favorite Italian restaurant in New Orleans. It was built from an old warehouse in an industrial area, so it has a very unique feel when you walk inside. If I could recommend everything on the menu I would, but I’ll just give you a few of my favorites. The Arancini is a must. The short rib surprise inside really elevated the flavor of the dish. The squid ink pasta had a kick in the best way (I am super sensitive to spicy food but the sauce complimented the seafood so nicely) and the Pappradelle was a table pleaser for sure. The service was wonderful and the wine selection was “exquisite” according to my dad!
