La Patite Grocery
Magazine Street
The first time I ever went to La Petite Grocery I was so anxious to start my freshman year of college that I didn’t think I could eat a thing. Right when the shrimp and grits were placed in front of me, I suddenly forgot all about my anxiety. The shrimp and grits were decadent, but not too heavy. The were light, buttery, and so flavorful! I would also recommend the Crab Beignets La Petite Grocery has some of the best Nola style food in the country. The century- old building is small, but holds a lot of history and has so much character. The chef has been awarded best chef in the South in 2016.
