Although Nola is known for its array of seafood, their BBQ game isn’t lacking! Blue Oak has incredible BBQ and great service. You walk into the restaurant, order at the counter, and your food is brought right to you! The quality, flavor, and tenderness of the meat is exceptional, especially the brisket. Every side on the menu is solid and packed with flavor. The mac and cheese is topped with toasted bread crumbs and leaves your mouth with a little kick in it! In my opinion the brussel sprouts are tasty, but not crispy enough for my liking. Overall, Blue Oak does not disappoint!
