Bisu Toro is probably one of the best sushi restaurants you can go to in New Orleans. I tried my first hand roll ever here (shoutout Dani Neirenberg) and it did not disappoint. The fish is very fresh and I love that they have the classic rolls in addition to more experimental ones with flavorful sauces. The side dishes on the menu are also solid. PLEASE don’t skip out on the cucumber salad. Yes, I know, cucumber salad sounds like it would be the same at every place, but at Bisu Toro they shave it into super small thin pieces. It’s SO refreshing and light! Its a great restaurant to bring your parents to or if you want to splurge as a college student I’d recommend going for happy hour!! 5 DOLLAR HAND ROLLS!!!
