Tchoupitoulas Street

My roommate probably gets Barracuda once if not twice a week. This place is THE SPOT. I never get sick of it and the food is consistently delicious. They have my favorite queso of every Mexican restaurant in Nola. The spice of the chili oil and sweetness of the pomegranate seeds makes for a great flavor balance and of course the crunch of the toasted pumpkin seeds ties it all together with texture. I would also recommend the Farmers Taco. They char the broccoli to perfection and the seasoning that coats the vegetables is packed with flavor. I like that they offer bowls in addition to tacos as well. The drinks are fresh, not too sweet, and the flavors change everyday keeping customers on their toes (if you go on a Hibiscus marg day you’ve won). I can’t forget to mention the restaurants ambiance. Its super casual, wait in line (usually it goes pretty quick), and sit outside on the cutest outdoor patio type of place with colorful tables and fairy lights! I can’t say enough good things about this place!
